Theme: Big Data and Services

The IEEE BigData 2014 Shenzhen Satellite Session focuses on the Big Data and Services. The major topics include but are not limited to: Big Data Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Big Data Platform-as-a-Service, Big Data Analytics-as-a-Service, Business Aspects of Big Data-as-a-Service, Service Generated Big Data Mining, Analysis and Application, Big Data-Related Service Development, Deployment, Discovery and Selection. The Shenzhen Satellite Session will include research paper presentations and visits to selected interesting places in Shenzhen.

All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by 3 reviewers. Accepted and presented papers from the Shenzhen Satellite Session will appear in the proceedings of the 3rd IEEE International Congress on BigData (BigData 2014) at Anchorage, Alaska which will be indexed by EI in IEEE Xplore. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register to the 3rd IEEE International Congress on BigData (BigData 2014) and present the paper at Shenzhen, China on May 31 - June 1, 2014. In addition, the author also has right to do another presentation in Anchorage, Alaska on June 27 - July 2, 2014. 

Extended versions of selected accepted papers will be invited for publication in the International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR) which is indexed by SCI and EI. Submitted manuscripts will be limited to 8 (IEEE Proceedings style) pages and REQUIRED to be formatted using the IEEE Proceedings template in WORD or Latex Package. Unformatted papers and papers beyond the page limit will not be reviewed. Electronic submission of manuscripts (in PDF or Word format) is required.

SUBMISSION

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered in another forum. Submitted manuscripts will be limited to 8 (IEEE Proceedings style) pages and REQUIRED to be formatted using the IEEE Proceedings template in WORD or Latex Package. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to attend the Shenzhen Satellite Session and present the paper. An electronically submitted abstract will be required prior to the submission of the full paper. Electronic submission of manuscripts (in PDF or Word formats) is required. Submissions should include paper title, abstract, name of authors, their affiliations, and emails addresses.
